2007 Term 2 Programme

25^th April	Wed	Anzac Day Parade
2^nd May	Wed	Outline of program, award progress, organisation into 3 flights, prepare for Mothers Day breakfast, investiture.
5^th May	Sat	Packing horse feed samples at 40B Spartan Road Takanini Fund raising for Jamboree.
9^th May	Wed	Guest speaker from Forest and Birds to help us discover what conservation projects are underway in the Auckland Area plus cover Outdoor Code plus learn some abseiling knots.
13^th May	Sun	Mothers Day breakfast at the den start at 9:00 with abseiling instruction then a nice easy abseil followed by breakfast cooked by the scouts.
16^th May	Wed	Veterinarian guest speaker to talk about animals, domestic and wild with particular reference to dogs. Scouts can bring along an animal but check with leaders first.
23^rd May	Wed	Slip sliding away, find out about erosion and controls that need to be intoduced to control it.
30^rd May	Wed	Visit from Fisheries department and learn what we can do to conserve our fisheries plus learn two knots useful for fishing and check fishing gear for Motutapu camp.
1^st June	Fri	Trivial pursuit night come along and have a really fun night questions cover all aspects even Phil gets some correct. Book a table of 10 and pay $90 otherwise $10 a head, door pizes, meat raffles, main raffle and lots of prizes. A light supper will be served by the scouts.
6^th June	Wed	Arbor Day what does it mean, when did it start what about the future Plan for camp at the weekend.
9^th - 10^th June	Sat - Sun	Camp on Motutapu Island and assist Motutapu Restoration Society in the planting trees on the Island, may be a chance to do some night fishing and catch fish for breakfast!!
13^th June	Wed	Check out cycles ahead of cycle expedition bring your cycles a representative from the cycle club will check them out and go over safety rules.
20^th June	Wed	Prepare for camp. Check out reports from each flight regarding what they have found out about leadership.
27^th June	Wed	Lazer strike challenge scouts v parents over Pigeon Mountain.
30^th - 31^st June	Sat - Sun	Bike hike to Ardmore, camp at the Air Training Corp complex and fly "sorties" with the War Birds and check out how the busiest airfield in NZ operates.
