2006 Term 4 Programme
| 11th October | Wed | Visit from the Musick Point Amateur Radio Club who will be our hosts for the JOTA Weekend Camp Tonight. We will be learning about radio etiquette and how to use the phonetic alphabet. |
| 18th October | Wed | Plan for the JOTA camp and organise the questions we will be asking when we are on the radio. |
| 21st - 22nd October | Sat - Sun | JOTA Camp - we will camp from 16.00hrs Saturday to 13.00hrs Sunday. Main activity will be using radios to contact other scouts around the world. We also hope to have the Westpac Helicopter Simulator there for the weekend depending on if it is serviceable. |
| 25th October | Wed | Build Guy Fawkes for Bonfire Night. |
| 1st November | Wed | Improve Camping skills - learn safe use of gas cookers, how to cook a meal suitable for a hike camp and plan a menu. |
| 3rd November | Fri | Bonfire night at Phil's place 19.00hrs. Bring the family, fireworks and a BBQ. |
| 8th November | Wed | Visit from the President of Howick Gun Club to discuss Firearms Safety. |
| 12th November | Sun | Competition Shooting at the Range on Wellington St. at 12.30hrs. Parents are welcome and the cost is $10. |
| 15th November | Wed | Prepare for Flight Camps practise - pitching tents and packing packs. |
| 22nd November | Wed | Final preparation for Flight Camp - check of menus, rout and organise shopping for camp. |
| 25th - 26th October | Sat - Sun | Flight Camps. |
| 29th November | Wed | No Scouts. |
| 6th December | Wed | Fishing Expedition. |
| 8th - 10th October | Fri - Sun | End of year Caving Abseiling Camp at Waipu. Leave Auckland 18.00hrs Friday return 17.00hrs Sunday. |
