Wednesday 3rd Meeting with parents to organise fund raising for future events Games night and update of Award Books Formalise contact with the Dambuster Air Scout Group in England (Page 17)
Wednesday 10th Speaker from Atrac Telemetric Systems learn how to operate a GPS, use in conjunction with maps and compasses. We will do an exercise later in the year using a GPS in the bush at night (Page 23) Plan Mothers Day event
Sunday 14th Mothers Day orienteering breakfast meet at Point View Reserve off Caldwells Road at 09.00hrs Teach your Mums orienteering and cook her breakfast (Page 9)
Wednesday 17th Make a pottery object and plan how to make a kiln to fire your pottery (Page 24)
Wednesday 24th Judy Fowler Civil Defence Coordinator for Manukau City Council will give a talk on Civil Defence This will be your chance to use side band radios in an emergency situation (Page 19)
Wednesday 31st Make rockets in preparation for the rocket expedition down to Taupiri and plan camp details for Queens Birthday Camp (Page 8)

Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th Camp in Taupiri Scout Den and visit the New Zealand Rocket Association Rocket Launching Site at Taupiri we will fire our rockets and see some amazing rockets Meet with Taupiri Scouts and take part in a Scouts Own (Page 8 & 20)

Wednesday 14th Guest speaker Ros Nicholson who has jointly with her husband Geoff revised and reprinted Mr Fairfields book on Pigeon Mountain The book recorded the development of the mountain from its volcanic origin through its occupation by the Maori and its subsequent abuse by the settlers (Page 18)
Wednesday 21st More work on “THE PERFORMANCE” (page 16 & 24)
Wednesday 28th Fun night last day of term 10 Pin Bowling
